My Readers Weigh In on Work, Intelligence, Education, Politics, Hope I spent the morning rereading the comments on my eight entries spanning August to November. The entries concern work, education, opportunity, and politics—and most of them were in some way linked to the presidential election. It was a nice, quiet morning, a little brisk but warm at the desk by the garden window.

Hi all! Wow, Debbie, that was really a long time to be so sick…and then to get up and cook a Thanksgiving Dinner and go shopping on Black Friday! Yikes! PLEASE take it easy now so you don’t have a relapse, okay? I do remember my teaching days and getting bronchitis and laryngitis at least once each year; It’s hard to stay germ-free when you’re surrounded by kids! Yes, Jim, all my decorations are up, such as they are.

Many MAT students enter the program with experience teaching English abroad. In particular, recently many students have taught in South Korea or are exploring the idea of teaching there after graduation from the MAT program.
