The question of gossip

One of the things I’ve been thinking about (due to some professional work talking about online harassment and disagreements) is the role of gossip and social commentary in the Pagan community. I believe that there is healthy gossip and unhealthy gossip, but I want to talk about some examples.

Ripon PD to charge more for services and traffic violations Monday, December 15, 2008 at 12:10AM It will cost a bit more for some Ripon PD services according to the December 16 Ripon City Council Agenda. Under the Consent Calendar there are 4 resolutions that if approved, will increase Ripon PD fees for live scan finger printing from $10 to $20, traffic(parking) violations on average would increase from $30 to $40, and towing services(2 seperate resolutions) would increase from $110 to $180

Broncos invade Cowboys country to teach youngsters

The Brisbane Broncos inavded North Queensland Cowboys territory today as part of their annual regional tour to show primary school children how best to play the game. Broncos legends Michael Hancock and Michael Devere showed children from around the Cairns region some skills of the game and they’ll be touring regions including the Atherton Tablelands, Mossman and the Cairns Northern Beaches all week.

what a difference a day makes…twenty-four little hours…
